Empty Bowls, presented by Brescia University, will be Thursday, October 1 from 5PM to 7PM in the RiverPark Center lobby. Bell Bank is the venue sponsor.
Approximately 210 tickets will go on sale Sept. 1 for $20 for individuals and $160 for a table of 8 via the Empty Bowls website. Any remaining tickets not sold online in advance will be available at the door on the evening of the event.
Each ticket allows attendees to select a ceramic bowl from hundreds of handcrafted bowls made especially for this event by local artisans, community members, Owensboro Health employees and students from Apollo High School and Brescia University. Attendees will then choose from a variety of soups prepared by local restaurants, chefs and churches for a simple dinner.
A silent auction will also be held during the event.
