As a non-profit regional arts hub that has educated more than 900,000 children since 1992, RiverPark Center is deeply committed to arts-in-education programming. We believe the arts are essential to a well-rounded education. Our Arts Teach Kids programs are designed to ignite imaginations, support classroom learning, and create unforgettable experiences that inspire a lifelong love of the arts.
In addition to our popular Summer Camps, the RiverPark Center offers Arts Teach Kids Workshops like Arts in the A.M. and Students on Stage — engaging, hands-on educational sessions that introduce students to lighting design, puppetry, storytelling, prop creation, and more.
Our School Matinees offers curated live performances during the school year, allowing students to experience Broadway-style shows, music, dance, and theatre in Cannon Hall — with curriculum-aligned content tailored for K–12 audiences. We also bring the arts directly to students through Arts Teach Kids On the Go! — for schools and community organizations in our region that are not able to travel to the RiverPark Center.
Whether it’s attending a live performance, participating in a creative workshop, or diving into a summer arts experience, there’s something for every student to discover at RiverPark Center.
