“A civilization flourishes when people plant trees under whose shade they will never sit.” - Greek Proverb
A strong endowment is the key to the future of RiverPark Center. You may find this interesting: Only a few arts centers in Kentucky administer a program on the level of RiverPark Center. But look at the difference in endowments:
Kentucky Center for the Arts
Louisville
$11 Million endowment
$6 million appraised art collection
Norton Center for the Arts
Danville
$11 million endowment
Lexington Opera House
Lexington
$7 million endowment
Luther Carson Four Rivers Center
Paducah
$9 million endowment
RiverPark Center Owensboro
$180,000
Building our endowment is key to our ability to sustain standards of excellence, to maintain the RiverPark facility, to attract quality artists and productions, to expand our education and outreach programs.
The U.S. government recognizes the value of nonprofit organizations by providing substantial tax benefits for charitable giving. Whether the gift is cash, securities, real estate, insurance, personal property, or a trust, benefits may include immediate tax deductions, avoidance of capital gains taxes, reduced estate taxes, increased income, and the ability to pass on more of your assets to your heirs.
Donors are recognized and saluted for their generosity and financial support. Named gifts are available as a lasting memorial. Etched portraits serve as a perpetual acknowledgment of generous donors. Contact the RiverPark Center at 270.687.2770 or info@riveprarkcenter.org for more information.
