giving
arts teach kids scholarship fund

RiverPark Center Arts Education programs surpass anything done in cities 5-times our size. Every year at RiverPark Center, 40,000+ students from at least 115 different schools in 25 counties from the tri-state attend diverse professional touring company presentations designed for every grade level from Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12 at RiverPark Center. This innovative, model performance series helps schools achieve goals for national standards and the KERA Arts and Humanities assessment (Kentucky state education goals).

Sadly, not every child is able to afford the modest ticket price ($5.50 average per child) to these premiere educational programs.  Thus, the Arts Teach Kids Scholarship Fund fills teachers' requests for financial assistance for their students, so long as money is available in the Fund. The Fund provides free and/or reduced price tickets to students in Daviess County.

Teachers tell us how the Arts bring subject matter alive for all children, and how the arts connect with underachievers, troubled kids, and special needs children. Recently, an elementary school principal told us her schools' scores - among the best in the state - were directly attributable to us.  How's that for success?

Maybe you remember your first experience to the arts and what it meant to you? Share that joy with a child; please join with the many others who will make a difference in a child’s life. Donate today – it is fast, easy and secure.
