Appalachian Music from Head to Toe!

Students actively experience Appalachian Music in this new program. Clogger Barry Lanham and musician Randy Lanham team up to present this 90-minute program to your students. After a brief overview of Appalachian Music, Randy demonstrates the instruments, rhythms, and music of this rich American Folk heritage. Students then learn clogging with Barry while Randy accompanies them! Your entire school can be accommodated with two 90-minute sessions.

Arts On Site Workshops

Workshops designed to teach core content in preparation for KERA testing in Dance, Music, Theatre and Visual Arts (or a combination of two) for Elementary, Middle and High School students. Artists will travel to your school with appropriate materials to present these workshops.

Music Through the Ages

Musicians Randy Lanham and Jeff Hardesty provide an interactive and entertaining journey through different styles of music from past to present. This program is designed to be presented at your school, but may be offered at RiverPark Center in combination with a Dance, Theatre or Visual Arts program.
