From the Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler

Based on the Newbery Medal Award-Winning Classic E.L. Konigsburg’s exciting novel blossoms on stage in ArtsPower’s energetic musical about the adventures of Claudia Kincaid and her brother Jamie as they run away from home to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, only to stumble upon one of the most incredible mysteries of the art world. There is such intrigue surrounding a certain small marble statue in the museum that the Kincaids resolve to get to the bottom of things. Is this statue, nicknamed Angel, actually the work of legendary sculptor Michaelangelo? With the help of the eccentric Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler – Angel’s former owner – Claudia and Jamie are given the opportunity to discover the statue’s secret.
